It’s a brave video 2 days before Samsung’s event. I hope their new pro buds will make a change.
Which one is better in terms of sound quality and ANC the soundcore liberty 4 (not nc) or the nothing ear (a)
Cmf by nothing anyone? 😂
For best bass quality + anc, gemini2 or wf xm5 are best, but sony got way better battery.
There is no ult wear buds tho, which is a sad thing XD
too bad the bose are terrible in every other way haha. and even more too bad… the gen 2 jabra 10 elites which boast 2x the ANC performance of the already awesome gen 1s are the last of the ear buds from jabra </3
Thank you very much. ❤
How do the Momentum 4 match up to these with the new firmware?
Awesome video Aaron!!! I actually do hate screaming kids, so you’re not alone.
What about best for sound quality?
Too much Bass in your Voice. That leads to bad understanding.
I don’t like Apple 🍏 , but the Airpods Pro 2 are among the 3 best earbuds when it comes to ANC, the 3 best are the Bose QC Ultra, Airpods Pro 2 and the new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, on the other hand Airpods and Galaxy Buds are only to be recommended to people in their respective "closesystems", Bose have too many connectivity problems and bad microphone for calls.
The Sony, without their memory foam tips, are actually very average, and any earbuds present in this test do even better than the Sony if you put memory foam tips on them 🤷🏽♂️
The Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, indeed the best earbuds in terms of ANC outside the top three, in addition, they cost almost 3 times less 👌🏽
Contender, Sennheiser Momentum 4.
The Jabras have nothing to do there 🤧
🙏🏽
Ps: Aaron, please, test the Qcy Ht08 Melobuds Pro, they are very, very surprising, especially for their prices $30-40$
I was about to hit an ambulance with my car while using bose qc ultra.
There is something special about the Jabra Elite 8 Active gen 2.
Their ANC works surprisingly well.
They are the opposite of flashy, but they do everything well. No drama, no fuss, no worries. Reliability and quality are often overlooked in search for trophy type look at me earbuds.
IMHO, and callers, their closest competitor, the Sony XM5, has mic quality that sucks in a noisy environment, and there is difficulty in getting a repeatable, consistent good seal in ear canal. And finally, I never worry about the Jabra Elite 8 Active working loose or getting lost, or damaged by water, sweat, rough handling, ect.
I tried Soundcore Anker, very disappointing, too complicated with features on the earbuds. I went back to the store added some euro’s and purchased Airpods Pro. What a relieve and difference.
Do same video for best audio earbuds (include yamaha e7b earbuds)
I’m curious on why barely no one ever talks about the ATH audio technica earbuds, like, anywhere.
HUAWEI BUDS 3 PRO
Just as with your mic tests, how about a video where you go out of the studio and use the buds in some common use cases like sitting on public transport, walking along the road or in a noisy foodcourt?
Great video as usual 😎
Please huawei freebuds pro 3 bro
I got myself a new AirPod pro 2 (lightning) for 155$ was it a good deal?
Wrong, these are all crap because none of them have an over-the-ear hook. The only thing these little nuggets are good for is losing them when they fall off your head after a very slight movement.
Will Bose release their next flagship earbuds for this year, 2024 ??
I just want to throw in the 1MORE evo – even being a bit older in my opinion they offer very good anc and sound for a reasonable price, since they are usually on sale due to their age.
Soundcore Sport X20
I would like to buy some budget earbuds that are good on battery/ambient/anc rather than focus on audio quality (i already a good pair of iem’s for that).
I was thinking about nothing ear (a) or soundcore liberty 4 NC, what do you think and how do they compare?

can you review the master & dynamics mw09 ?
I have had the Bose in black and blue. The blue ones are 90 percent hum-free in the left earbud. I read on Reddit that white people don’t have a noise problem either.
Yamaha e7b Earbuds cheap in india 95usd only
do you include the new buds3 pro?
Tryign to decide on what jabra elite to get…the 10 is like $220 and the jabra 4 is only $100
I own the XM5s and QCIIs. QCIIs are still the king of ANC. For those are not interesting for ANC I suggest to try the Huawei Freeclips. The fit is from other planet, the battery, the multipair support, touch controls, lightweight & sound quality are top notch. They can also able to understand which earbud is in the left or right ear and adapt the proper channel. Huawei made a witchcraft with those beauties. Period.
HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3 was missing.
I’ve search the price of the earpods on the list, the soundcore is half or less than half of the price of top 1-3
Huawei FreeBuds 6i
Dude they all sound the same
I have the soundcore Liberty 4NC and I feel they are way overrated by reviewers. The Huawei 6i which are in the similar priced, but have much better ANC3. Also the soundcore app is far too fussy and not needed. Most people just want to pair their eaarbuds and press play.
For me even the airpods pro 2 are the best
How about samsung buds pro 3? And also really eager to see Jabra Elite 10 ‘Gen 2’ review.
Have a nice day; I think, Sennheiser Momentum true wireless 4 should be on this list.
They all sound weak, I think your setup doesn’t show anc properly, I’ve some pixel buds pro which aren’t nearly as good at anc as the Sony and Bose but mine sound 100x better than your demo.
As a Bose QC Ultra user, I want to share my experience:
I really liked the ANC and the "immersion" feature that is adjustable via its app. But only the sound quality including these two are the pros. The following two paragraphs are the cons I experienced.
The app is really buggy. The interface feels slow and sluggish. If you use the app, the firmware updates are really slow. The "modes" menu occasionally forgets to load. When I had an issue and tried to solve by myself, their website did not help at all. The pages feel very unorganized and do not provide technical info. For example, changing usb port did not solve my issue of windows not recognizing the speakers (I wanted to update the firmware via PC).
Most of the time, the speakers do not pair with mobile. Pairing with a PC is a dream. Normally after holding pressed the back-button for a period of time, the charging case should lit blue. However, it does not give any feedback. It only does amber and white periodically, indicating an error according to:
https://www.bose.com.au/en_au/support/articles/HC2472/productCodes/QCUE-HEADPHONEIN/article.html
The page suggests contacting the service support, which I did to no avail. The staff was not helpful even though I tried to explain the problem in detail. They just send links to their helpful (!) webpages. They don’t provide technical info or contribute anything different other than given in their website.
The right earbud was charging up slower and down faster than the left one (L 70%, R 20% after use).
Given its premium price, only the sound quality pays off, but it is hardly enough to counter-balance the cons that make the device barely usable.
Hello dear friend, I liked your review and accuracy very much
QCY melobuds pro
The Technics AZ80’s had better ANC than the Sony XM5. I tried both and the Technics were the best I’ve heard..
Bagaimana dengan samsung apakah tidak masuk kedalam kategori anda
The Bose ultra QC had so many quality issues and that annoying little constant mosquito sound ruined the ANC for me. I tried the Sony’s and they’re just not doing it for me 😔
The specifications of the Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 earbuds were very much liked but the transparency is very important and its performance is not the same as airpod pro apple do you know of any other alternative to it?
The QC Ultra Earphones have been the best in terms of ANC for me but the sound quality to my ears sounds very cheap and the white noise is so annoying
